Loadmaster Systems

Loadmaster is a complete roof deck design, installation, and warranty system. It includes high strength steel deck, thermal insulation, and Duraflex Mineral Board which provides composite action that can increase the performance of the roof covering. SERD is a licensed installer of Loadmaster roof deck systems across the Southeast.

Advantages of Loadmaster Systems

Loadmaster assemblies have been fully tested and qualified by FM, UL, and all major code organizations. They offer:

  • Fire resistance: Loadmaster systems are non-combustible, with over 50 UL hourly fire ratings.
  • Superior structural integrity: The composite roof deck system controls roofing stress, extending the lifespan of the roof and saving money over time.
  • No nailers required: Loadmaster uses patented galvanized steel roof edge terminations and valley, hip, and ridge transitions, eliminating the need for unstable wood nailers in the roof deck assembly.
  • Suitable for specialty structures: Loadmaster systems meet the requirements for hurricane prone areas, green roofs, and other specialized or high-performance applications.

Loadmaster Retrofitting

When an existing Loadmaster or lightweight insulating concrete (LWIC) roof assembly has lost composite action, Loadmaster systems can be designed, engineered, and installed over the existing steel form deck and will reinstate the required composite structural action.
